Les enfants apprécieront la plage, le marché, les glaces au bord de mer et les balades dans les falaises au coucher du soleil.

Basse Vallée de la Durdent Nature Trail
600 m from the house (start at the parking lot behind the Nautical Center)
A 7 km loop through a protected natural area with wet meadows, diverse wildlife, and remnants of the Atlantic Wall. Easy, stroller- and bike-friendly, with interpretive panels and stunning views from the “Pont Rouge.”
La Valleuse des Petites Dalles
3 km from the house (start on Chemin de Bellevue, Saint-Martin-aux-Buneaux)
A 22 km loop over cliffs, valleys, and green plateaus. Highlights include Sissi’s Château, typical Pays de Caux villages, and marl pits with protected fauna. Spectacular sea views blend nature and heritage.
Around Caniel Lake
10 km from the house (start at Cany-Barville train station – Véloroute du Lin)
A 13.2 km yellow-waymarked circuit through plateaus, hillsides, and the Durdent Valley. Passes by the lake’s leisure center for both hiking and water activities, with forest sections and a link to the Lin Greenway.
Chemin des Douaniers (GR21)
– 1 km from the house (start at the eastern end of the Veulettes sea wall)
A 13 km coastal trail offering breathtaking chalk-cliff panoramas, circling from Veulettes-sur-Mer to Saint-Valery-en-Caux via lush “valleuses” and timber-framed villages.Details

🚲 Cycling
The Côte d'Albâtre Coast is a top destination for cyclists, with stunning coastal scenery and routes for every level. The flagship is La Vélomaritime (EuroVelo 4), a ~180 km ride between Le Havre and Le Tréport, passing Étretat, Fécamp, Saint-Valery-en-Caux, and Dieppe alongside dramatic white cliffs.
